Just a quick clarification for anyone who is interested: The discounted gift edition is a bonded leather-wrapped hardcover. The bonded leather softcover, which Timothy and Chris reviewed a couple weeks ago is called the "Personal Edition." Both have the same page format.
Good point. Thank you!
Yes I noticed that after I received a second email from the USCCB, the one that Timothy reveiwed is 40% off.
As much as I would like to get the Personal Edition at 40% off...I am going to save my bucks for that New Testament that was announced here the other day. Not THAT seems like a different NABRE to get and am hoping it might be useful for RCIA and/or Confirmation classes.
Plus it is only $10!
For anyone interested, here is discount code and link for the USCCB NABRE Personal Edition.40% OFF: NEW AMERICAN BIBLE, REVISED EDITION (PERSONAL EDITION)List Price: $19.95Sale Price: $11.97 DISCOUNT CODE:40FORME (EXP 12/8)http://store.usccb.org/New-American-Bible-Personal-Edition-p/7-485.htm?utm_source=email&utm_medium=email&utm_content=nabre-bible-personal&utm_campaign=discount-inside-40-percent-off-nabre-bible-personal-edition-just-for-you
It's not a bad deal, but I already own 3 paper copies of the NABRE, and an e-book edition, can't really justify buying another one, at least not before 2025 when the revised NT is scheduled to be released.
